Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the terms under which Finding Wealth (“Finding Wealth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes refund requests for Premium subscriptions and other paid services. It supplements our Terms of Use.

1. General — Subscriptions Are Non-Refundable

All Premium subscription fees are non-refundable as a general rule. When you subscribe to Finding Wealth Premium — whether monthly, annual, or as a Founding Member — you receive immediate access to premium features. Because of this, subscription fees are not refunded if you cancel mid-period, change your mind, or stop using the Services.

Your Premium access continues until the end of the current paid billing period regardless of when you cancel. Cancellation prevents the next renewal charge but does not trigger a refund of fees already paid.

2. How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time by going to Account → Subscription within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

For assistance cancelling, email support@findingwealth.ca with the subject “Cancel Subscription” and your account email address.

3. Exceptions We Review Case by Case

We may issue a refund or credit at our sole discretion where we are satisfied that one of the following circumstances applies:

  • Duplicate charge. You were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
  • Technical billing failure. You were charged but your Premium access was not activated within a reasonable time due to a verified system error on our end.
  • Unauthorized transaction. You did not authorize the charge and reported it to us promptly.
  • Exceptional circumstances. Other circumstances that we determine, in our sole discretion, warrant a refund in fairness to the user.

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge date to be considered. Requests submitted outside this window will generally not be approved except in extraordinary circumstances required by law.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@findingwealth.ca with:

  • Subject line: Refund Request
  • Your account email address
  • The charge date and amount
  • A brief explanation of the circumstances

We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your payment provider.

5. Payment Processors

Finding Wealth uses Stripe and PayPal to process payments. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at purchase. We do not issue refunds to a different card or account.

If you initiated a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, our ability to process a voluntary refund may be limited while the dispute is in progress.

6. Founding Member Plan

The Founding Member plan is a one-time annual purchase granting lifetime-rate access at the founding price. It is subject to this Refund Policy. The non-refundable general rule applies; however, we will consider exceptional circumstances described in Section 3 on a case-by-case basis.

7. Applicable Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation. In particular, if mandatory provincial or federal consumer protection law in Canada entitles you to a refund, those statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
