Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use Finding Wealth to:

• Violate any applicable federal, provincial, or local law or regulation.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or falsely represent your identity or affiliation.
• Access another user's account without their authorization.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, authentication, or access control mechanism.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or its infrastructure.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious or harmful code.
• Overload, disrupt, or degrade the availability or performance of the service.
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the service by automated means without written authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
• Use the service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any other financial crime.
• Connect financial accounts to which you do not have authorized access.
• Use the Horizon AI feature to generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or in violation of Anthropic's usage policies.

Finding Wealth is a personal finance management tool intended for personal, non-commercial use by individual users managing their own finances. Use of the service for commercial purposes, on behalf of third parties, or for business financial management is not permitted without a separate written agreement with Finding Wealth.

Bank account connections are provided through Plaid for read-only access to your own accounts. You may only connect accounts for which you are the account holder or an authorized user. Connecting accounts to access another person's financial data without their authorization is a serious violation of this AUP and may constitute a criminal offence.

Horizon AI is powered by Anthropic's Claude models and is governed by Anthropic's usage policies in addition to this AUP. You may not use Horizon AI to solicit, generate, or disseminate harmful, illegal, or misleading financial information for use by third parties.

Finding Wealth reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Upon discovering or being notified of a violation, Finding Wealth may, at its sole discretion:

• Suspend or terminate your account with or without prior notice.
• Remove or disable access to any content or data associated with the violation.
• Report the conduct to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
• Pursue legal remedies.

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP — including unauthorized access attempts, misuse of connected accounts, or AI misuse — please report it to support@findingwealth.ca.

Finding Wealth may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
